Moea's LCA carried out by the certified FAIRLY MADE® solution indicates that CornSkin emits 1.70kg of CO2 per m² compared with 61kg of CO2 per m² for animal leather.
By comparison, one pair of ORIGIN in animal leather would emit 30.11 kg of CO₂e.
The CO₂e estimates are based on life cycle assessments (LCA) and impact calculations provided by our material suppliers and third-party tools (FAIRLY MADE®) in 2023, as well as MoEa's internal eco-design calculations.
