WHY ZEBRA?

During a trip to Namibia in 2018, in the Etosha National Park I was able to admire a multitude of zebras that I fell in love with! It was the first time I saw them in real life and I was fascinated by their beauty, by their unique stripes and their mane standing up in a crest that gives them a little punk side! They are all different but the same at the same time, like us humans in the end...

Seeing all these troops so peaceful amazed me and I tried to learn more about their behavior and their way of life. What I discovered pleased me a lot. Their social bonds are very strong, they live in families, their union allows them to protect themselves from predators. In addition, their senses are very developed, their sight, smell, and hearing are excellent, they spot predators from afar and warn the whole troop! They have a powerful survival instinct, their kicks and sharp hooves can break the jaw of a lion. The zebra has never been able to be domesticated by man, it refuses to be led and does not submit to what is ordered of it.

For me the zebra therefore symbolizes: freedom, the wild state, strength, community, being protective and determined.

I had the chance to see zebras again, in South Africa this time, and this confirmed my choice of this animal as the official representative of my online store!
