Beflamboyant
BEFLABOYANT is a young Spanish brand founded by Tatiana Gonzalez and Jorge Lopez. As fashion lovers , but also concerned about the state of the planet, it was a shock for Jorge and Tati when they discovered the enormous environmental footprint left by the fashion industry, as well as the large number of animals that die for the making of the latest trends.
For this young couple, It was clear from the beginning that their collection had to adhere to the values of their generation , more informed, more aware and more respectful of the environment . They take care to control the traceability of their products, evaluate the well-being of workers in their production workshops in Elche, Spain, choose sustainable recycled materials and all this without contributing to animal abuse, by using alternative materials to animal leather .
The BEFLAMBOYANT logo is inspired by one of the most colorful trees in the world, The Flamboyant, which Tati and Jorge discovered in Havana while traveling in the Caribbean. Flamboyant also means extravagant and seductive, just like their first sneaker collection. The tree is therefore much more than a logo, as it represents the entire philosophy behind the brand.
In keeping with their beliefs, BEFLAMBOYANT plants a tree in areas of California devastated by wildfire for every pair of shoes sold.
T he brand values and the creative process behind the product design are meticulously taken into account. From the design to the materials, through the production stages by hand in Spain with suppliers who guarantee the well-being of their workers, every detail has been carefully thought out. Just like the packaging, which is a recyclable or reusable fabric bag in which your BEFLAMBOYANT sneakers will come.
The collection is intended to be unisex , the couple explains: " We love shopping together and we are tired of having to look for one, then for the other, or having to shop alone. That's why we decided to design sneakers for everyone, with different color combinations, so that people can choose the combination they like best, without hassle."
