Homonoia Paris is a brand of eco-responsible bananas and fashion accessories , founded by Audrey and Etienne, childhood friends.
How was the Homonoia brand born?
Audrey, who has always been passionate about fashion, realizes that this world does not always correspond to her deepest values. Between the excesses of fast fashion, the poor working conditions in manufacturing plants, the production of materials that have a harmful impact on the environment...
She dreams of creating an eco-responsible brand , in line with her convictions. She talks about it to her long-time friend Etienne, who also wanted to undertake a project with a positive impact, a project that really makes sense. Both are motivated to embark on the adventure thanks to their shared vision, and decide to launch the Homonoia Paris brand by creating bananas, bags and various fashion accessories in an upcycling approach, that is to say by revaluing already existing materials.

Preserving the environment through upcycling
From the beginning, the brand has refused to produce new materials. All items are designed only from materials considered waste: new fabrics from dormant stocks. These are fabrics that have been stored for years, no longer useful for the factories or brands (often large fashion houses) that had them produced. Previously, these materials were considered waste and were incinerated. Fortunately, today, there are companies that recover them to revalue them.
By reusing materials already available, Homonoia clearly expresses its opposition to waste and its desire to preserve the resources of our planet . Thanks to its trusted suppliers, the brand chooses beautiful quality materials and thus creates eco-responsible bananas and unique fashion accessories.
Since the quantity of material is often a little limited, the brand regularly offers new collections with new materials and colors.
French manufacturing
The Homonoia brand is determined to relocate the textile industry with ethical French production . To do this, it has chosen to have its products manufactured by integration workshops and ESATs (Work Assistance Establishments and Services) in order to support people with disabilities or who are struggling to find work.
Homonoia is proud to mention its partner workshops in France: Atelier Agile is in Roubaix, Fer et Refaire is in Saint-Denis and CATM is in La Ravoire.
In addition, French manufacturing promotes a short circuit, allows close collaboration with local partners and reduces the environmental impact.

Homonoia was a Greek goddess of harmony and unity of spirit. It is a symbolic name that makes sense with our philosophy and what the economy of tomorrow represents for us."
