FAIRMA
Fairma is a young Polish brand created in 2016, which tastefully designs high-quality vegan shoes and accessories .
It was founded in response to the growing expectations of a large number of consumers who wish to move towards more ethical fashion , which values humans, animals and the environment.
One of Fairma's goals is to prove that leather is not the best choice for the shoe industry today and that new eco-responsible materials are both beautiful and qualitative.
Fairma has chosen local production, by small factories in Poland.
Vegan shoes and accessories are made from high quality microfiber with Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certificate, from Spain.
The composition of this material can vary, it all depends on the desired result:
When you want a leather-like look, microfiber is made from a blend of polyester and nylon. To make it look like suede, it contains a cotton blend that is softer and has a completely different texture.
These fibers are very fine: 30 times finer than cotton and 100 times finer than a human hair!
The microfiber used at Fairma is strong, durable, breathable, waterproof and often similar to soft, natural leather. Plus, it’s recyclable!
Fairma also uses natural materials such as Piñatex (pineapple leaf fibre) and cork. At the same time, this ethical brand is continually looking for new sustainable materials that would be even better for the environment.
