GURU mtp is a young French shoe brand vegan with character , created by Fanny and Gwendoline, both designers in Montpellier. They want to put the product at the heart of their work, by designing ethical shoes of quality and without cruelty , by carefully choosing beautiful, durable materials with low ecological impact.

GURU mtp encourages the development of alternative materials to leather , including the use of Piñatex for the production of their vegan derbies . This innovative material made from pineapple fiber transforms this iconic model into a shoe with a unique character.

"There are no obvious choices or perfect solutions, but a desire to move forward by choosing the least aggressive materials, and to be in search of new solutions and to encourage them by integrating them into our collections. We are constantly looking for new materials, both to succeed in eventually getting rid of all petroleum transformation products, and to encourage research and development of innovative and natural materials."

Manufacturing is carried out in small family factories in Spain and Portugal (depending on the model) thanks to the recognized know-how of qualified craftsmen.
The brand wants to be as transparent as possible about manufacturing costs because it believes that the more the consumer is informed about what they are buying, the fairer the market will be, for the producer, for animals and for the environment.
