Les sacs à dos en chanvre de 8000Kicks sont fabriqués à partir de chanvre industriel, une branche de Sativa, connue comme le cousin sobre de la marijuana.
Le chanvre industriel est utilisé depuis 8000 ans avant J.-C. et ses propriétés sont notamment d'être antibactérien, de ne pas nécessiter d'engrais et presque pas d'eau pour pousser, le chanvre nettoie et restaure les nutriments dans le sol, et il est également très durable. En fait, le chanvre est si résistant qu'Henry Ford a même construit une voiture à partir de ce matériau. La marque 8000 Kicks a pour objectif de ramener cette fibre naturelle puissante en fabriquant des sacs à dos en chanvre imperméables.
