These loafers are made from an olive-based leather alternative, an innovative and durable material produced in Turkey.

The material is made up of 87% olive, and 13% water-based PU.

It is developed under Oleatex® certification, a benchmark in plant-based alternatives made from olive groves.

A by-product turned resource : Skins, pits, olive fragments: all these residues, called pomace, are ground up and then mixed with a water-based PU. The resulting paste is then dyed with natural pigments, spread onto a thick fabric, then heated to stabilize its shape.

This process helps limit waste, make the most of olive by-products, and offer a viable alternative to other less responsible materials.

The advantages of this material?

It offers real structure, good durability in use, and a clean, understated look.

Each pair is assembled by hand in a family-run Portuguese workshop, with meticulous attention paid to detail and finishing.

The models in Zèta's Saudade collection (Gaia, Soajo, Minho, Douro, Braga) fit true to size, so we recommend choosing your usual size.
