• Outer : grape-based plant material made from waste from wine production
• Inner lining: mesh made from plastic bottles recovered from the Mediterranean (100%)
• Laces : recycled plastic (100%)
• Removable insole : recycled foam (100%)
• Outsole: recycled synthetic rubber (70%)
• Glue: vegan, made from upcycled latex
• Label: recycled polyester
• Box: recycled cardboard & flyer made from recycled paper (30%) and organic corn waste (15%)

Each pair of Zèta vegan sneakers emits 6kg of CO2, compared with 15kg for a classic pair of trainers.

Zèta carried out a life cycle assessment of its shoes, notably using the ADEME tool, to understand their impact and reduce it as much as possible.

This analysis takes into account the manufacturing and processing of raw materials, shoe production, transport from Portugal to France, their use over a 3-year period, and end-of-life recycling.
