  • Upper : grape-based plant material made from waste from wine production
  • Coffee material: 15% coffee, 50% cotton, 35% water-based PU
  • Inner lining: mesh made from plastic bottles collected from the Mediterranean (100%)
  • Laces : recycled plastic (100%)
  • Removable insole : recycled foam (100%)
  • Outsole: coffee (10%) and recycled synthetic rubber (90%)
  • Vegan glue : upcycled latex
  • Label: recycled polyester
  • Box: recycled cardboard & flyer made from recycled paper (30%) and organic corn residue (15%)

Each pair of Zèta vegan sneakers emits 6kg of CO2, compared with 15kg for a classic pair of sneakers.

Zèta carried out a life cycle analysis of its shoes, notably using the ADEME tool, to understand their impact and reduce it as much as possible.

This analysis takes into account the manufacturing and processing of raw materials, the making of the shoes, their transport from Portugal to France, their use over a 3-year period, and recycling at the end of their life.
