- Upper : plant-based material made from pesticide-free cereals (73% Bio PU + 27% recycled polyester) and vegan suede (50% PU + 50% nylon)
- Inner lining: recycled cotton (80%) + PES (20%)
- Laces : recycled cotton (100%)
- Removable insole : recycled foam (100%)
- Outer sole: recycled synthetic rubber (40%)
- Glue: vegan, made from resin
- Label: recycled polyester
- Box: recycled cardboard & flyer made from recycled paper (30%) and organic corn waste (15%)
Each pair of Zèta vegan sneakers emits 6kg of CO2, compared with 15kg for a standard pair of sneakers.
Zèta carried out a life cycle assessment of its shoes, notably using the ADEME tool, to understand their impact and reduce it as much as possible.
This analysis takes into account the manufacturing and processing of raw materials, the production of the shoes, their transport from Portugal to France, their use over a period of 3 years, and recycling at end of life.
