Focus on the mushroom-based material ?
The mushrooms are harvested from local farms in Vietnam that cannot sell them because of food standards. This gives farmers an additional source of income and reduces waste. The mushrooms are then mixed with natural latex before being applied to a lyocell/viscose fabric. In addition to being vegan, this material contains no plastic.

Low carbon footprint : A study conducted by the certified agency FairlyMade shows that the production of MushroomSkin emits 3.39 kg of CO2 per m² compared with 61 kg of CO2 per m² for animal leather.
