These vegan Mary Jane ballet flats are made from an olive-based leather alternative, an innovative and durable material produced in Turkey.

The material is made up of 87% olive, and 13% water-based PU.

It is developed under the Oleatex® certification, a benchmark in plant-based alternatives made from olive groves.

A by-product turned resource : Skins, pits, olive fragments: all these residues, called olive pomace, are ground and then mixed with a water-based PU. The resulting paste is then dyed with natural pigments, spread onto a thick fabric, and then baked to stabilize its shape.

This process helps limit losses, optimize olive-growing waste, and offer a viable alternative to other less responsible materials.

It offers real structure, good durability in use, and a visual finish that remains understated.

Each pair is assembled by hand in a family-run Portuguese workshop, with meticulous attention paid to detail and finish.
