Anjara | Openwork Raffia Tote Bag and Its Small Pouch

Entirely handwoven in Madagascar, the Anjara tote highlights precious artisanal craftsmanship and the natural charm of Madagascar raffia. Each piece is made in the brand's workshop in Antananarivo and takes nearly six days to complete.

The bag is then finished in Paris with details and trims in UPPEAL™, an innovative leather-look material made from apple waste. The handles are reinforced for comfortable carrying, and an interior strap with a gold swivel clasp makes it easy to attach your keys or a small pouch.

The unlined interior preserves the authenticity of the braided raffia. This version of the ANJARA tote comes with a small raffia pouch, ideal for storing your phone or card holder. It is attached with a strap and swivel clasp.

The pouch can also be worn on its own for an evening out in summer.

As each tote is handwoven, the sizes and finishes may vary slightly, making each piece unique.

This raffia tote is delivered in a cotton dust bag, ideal for protecting and storing it.

Care instructions

Raffia is a natural material that does not require any special care. To preserve your bag, it is advisable to avoid prolonged exposure to moisture and to store it in its dust bag away from light when not in use.

The UPPEAL™ details can be easily cleaned with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
