The vegan Matéo sneakers are classic, timeless, comfortable, stylish and to top it all off, they are made from eco-responsible materials : a cereal-based altercuir for the white parts andAppleskin for the nude inserts.
To design this pair, the Ashoka brand called on the talented designer David Matéo, an expert in the field of footwear for 20 years.
Handcrafted in Portugal .These sneakers will be shipped directly by the Ashoka Paris brand.
Exterior:
Grained exterior details :
Italian grained (white) bio-based material, approved by PETA, made from vegetable oil from non-consumable and GMO-free cereals. Composition: 31% Viscose / 51.06% Cereals / 17.94% Polyurethane.
Smooth exterior :
- Smooth (white) bio-based material from Italy, approved by PETA, made from vegetable oil from non-consumable and GMO-free cereals. Composition: 31% Cotton / 53.04% Cereal / 14.96% Polyurethane.
-Apple Skin (nude), bio-sourced Italian material made from apple waste. Composition: Apple Waste 26% / Cotton 16% / Polyester 20% / Polyurethane 38%.
Outsole : Recycled material made in Portugal. Its "cup sole" shape gives a clean line to the sneaker.
Assembly : Strobel which offers flexibility and resistance
Colors : nude and white
Laces : flat in waxed cotton, for a touch of elegance.
Eyelets : gold

Inner lining : Innovative onSteam ® material breathable, anti-bacterial, ecological and recyclable.
Removable insole : Injected for even more comfort and lightness of walking. It perfectly fits the shape of the arch of the foot. Removable, to be replaced by an orthopedic insole, if necessary.
